During the hippie movement of the 1960s, when I was actively searching for truth, I came to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ while attending a "Jesus Revolution" at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. This event inspired me to become involved in ministry.
God opened the door for me to become the frontman of the band Dayspring, which was signed to the Christian music record label Maranatha! Music. During this time, I began praying for and encouraging fellow believers and sharing the gospel.
Soon after, I met my beautiful wife, Jackie. In 1974, we tied the knot and started a family. I decided to start my own business, which grew quickly, but in 1984, I still felt a calling from God to serve in ministry full-time.
I knew this would be challenging with my demanding schedule of managing a rapidly growing company, volunteering at church, attending Bible college part-time, and caring for a growing family. Most days, I only had to see my wife and kids during my lunch break.
This led to the creation of Breath of Life Today (B.O.L.T.) study lessons. I created these lessons with believers' busy lifestyles in mind. The lessons are full of substance and will help you get the most out of your time with God. Each lesson is easy to incorporate into your daily routine and can be used like a devotional. They will help you study scripture and gain a deeper understanding of the word of God.
